Introducing the Spring '23 有限元分析 Scholars from CEA CAPA
CEA CAPA was honored to attend and sponsor the 2022 Fund for 教育 Abroad (有限元分析) Gala on Dec. 1、在华盛顿特区.C. 有限元分析 awards several types of scholarships to U.S. college students with financial need who are traditionally underrepresented in study abroad programs. 作为一个 有限元分析接入合作伙伴, we are proud to support their mission through yearly study abroad scholarships.
Scholarship Recipients
这个循环 有限元分析 granted $285,000 in scholarships to 68 students; five of the 68 were awarded to CEA CAPA students. In addition to this year’s CEA CAPA scholarship recipients, a total of 935 students, including students of color and first-generation college and community college students have benefited from $3 million in scholarships granted since 有限元分析’s inception in 2010.
今年, 85% of awarded scholars identify as students of color: 38% Hispanic/Latinx, 16% Black/African American, 15% Asian/South Asian, 14%混血儿, 1% identified as Middle Eastern or North African. 此外, 43% of these 有限元分析 scholars identify as LGBTQIA+, 57% have never traveled outside the U.S., 81% are first-generation college students.
