Why did you choose to study or intern abroad?
I chose to study abroad because I have never had the chance to travel outside of the country and it is something I have wanted to do for years. Learning Spanish has been of high interest to me as well since I have many friends and family who speak both Spanish and English, which led me to look into studying abroad in Spain to take Spanish classes!  

Why did you choose your study/intern destination?
Alicante was perfect for me since it is near the ocean, has lots of nature to explore, and is not one of the main tourist cities - to help have as authentic of an experience as possible.

What CLASS ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO TAKING while ABROAD?
I am excited about all of my Spanish courses. Taking language classes and meeting people with similar intentions is something I have been looking forward to. It is a great way to meet people of different backgrounds and make friends!

what's something you're passionate and excited about? (hobbies, interests, causes, etc.)?
I am excited about getting to experience Spanish culture. My dad's side of the family is from Puerto Rico and all speak Spanish, but I was not taught it as a child, and so it is something I have always wanted to learn. I am eager to be immersed in the language. Getting to try different foods and things I would never have thought about trying before is very exciting as well!
