Katie Claggett, Student Engagement Coordinator

As a Student Engagement Coordinator, Katie (she/her) supports CEA CAPA’s 校友 Ambassadors on their re-entry and study abroad promotion journeys. Primarily working in the East region, Katie calls Maryland home, and lives by the phrase “Act Local, 认为全球.” While obtaining her bachelor’s degree in sociology and anthropology from Guilford College, Katie spent two semesters abroad, in Morocco and 智利. While her own experience as a global exchange participant is vast, she most recently worked in international enrollment management, supporting international students through the college admissions process. In her free time, Katie is a competitive ultimate frisbee player and an avid gardener. She resides on the Eastern Shore of Maryland with her husband and stepson.
